Has anyone ever traveled to NYC, Cooperstown and Niagara Falls on vacation? My wife and I are celebrating our 25the Anniversary in May. Hoping to find the easiest way to plan a vacation to the Empire State. We would love to see all three venues. Any suggestions are welcomed.
Traveling NY from the West Coast
May is a good time, it%26#39;ll be after the snow.
There are two ways you can do this. You could plan to fly from California to Buffalo NY, get a rental car and spend a couple days at Niagara Falls. You can drive from Niagara Falls to Cooperstown, spend a day or two there. From Cooperstown you could either drive the rental car to a suburban location outside the city, return the car and take public transportation into Manhattan or if you%26#39;re feeling adventurous, drive right into the City and return the car after checking into the hotel. At the end of the trip you%26#39;d fly back to California.
Alternatively, you could do this same scenario in reverse.
You could book a roundtrip ticket to New York and then drive roundtrip to Niagara Falls. You could see Cooperstown in one direction and spend a couple days in the Finger Lakes region in the other direction.
Please let us know if you have any questions.
