We just returned from another great trip to New York. This marks our 5th consecutive year to visit and our second in December. We covered a lot of ground in such a short time. For example, I logged closed to 20 miles running (yes running) visited all 5 boroughs (slept in 2 of them), used my metrocard 38 times (I counted) and crossed over the Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queensboro Bridges on foot. I also developed a “like” for beer brewed in Brooklyn, potato knishes and a “love” for black and white cookies. (I ate 11 in 6 days). I was reminded constantly how lucky we are to have the knowledgeable regulars here on the forum that help make our trips so great and how cool New Yorkers really are. Similar to last year, as opposed to a chronological report, I have chosen to just include highlights and observations that we made/experienced during our 6 days. I will post my report soon as well as describe my second encounter with a “Lotuspath”. Again, thanks to all here on the forum that continue to make my trips to NY great.

A Trip Report: By ChipperTex - (INTRO)
Right off the bat, let me just set the record straight. I never ever meet anyone from Texas in my entire life. I don%26#39;t know anyone that goes by the name Chip or Chipper or Chipperoo or Chipster or the Chipmeister. In fact ..... Chipper who?
uh huh.....we%26#39;ll see about that!!!!!
Don%26#39;t leave out the McD%26#39;s Angus Burger in your restaurant highlights!
I too had my first black and white cookie this week. Then I had my second a few minutes later when I took my wife%26#39;s from her.
Woo hoo! A Chipper/LP trip report is upcoming! 2009 is already looking up.
Did LP look out for you in the big city? I was worried, so I asked him to. I hope he took good care of you and showed you more than just Hooters this time.
I too am looking forward to the Chipper/LP saga continuation. Please, don%26#39;t listen to the producer/director, just tell the story.
I just hope you thoroughly disinfected yourself after your LotusPath encounter.
Looking forward to it chipper.
Sorrie to be a freakie Aussie girl - but what on earth is a black and wite cookie? And where should I look for the best?
KangaGirl !! Black and white cookies in 2009. Zaro%26#39;s are very good, GCT.
