Anyone stayed at 6 Columbus?

Have booked this for our trip in feb for four nights as quikbook had good rate in 72 hour sale. Reviews have been positive aprt from saying pod rooms are small but i have booked a larger one. Is this a good place/location to stay?

There is a lady from Montreal who stays there and writes about it on the Forum, she seems to really love the place. As a New Yorker I have not stayed there, sorry.

Hi Pinkdiamondo....I am the lady from Montreal that ffmiles said stayed often at the 6 Columbus. I really like this hotel, I have stayed there 4 times, because it is in a great location. You are near many bus and subway lines so you can get to anywhere in the island easily.

The rooms are small, even those that are supposed to be of a larger size. It is a small boutique hotel, it is not a high luxury hotel where you get suites. What I like about a smaller hotel is that you are not a number. The staff recognizes you and always greets you warmly. I had a problem with the heating in my room and it was fixed immediately. I had to call for a blanket and the person arrived in 5 minutes. I stayed at larger hotels where I called the front desk and I never saw what I asked for. There are pros and cons to a small hotel so it depends on what kind of traveler you are.

Hi pinkdiamond. I just booked the 6 Columbus for 4 nights in February too, based on cricri%26#39;s report, the overall very favorable TA reviews, and of course the quikbook rates.
