Hi there

I am visiting NYC in December. My hotel is close to the Empire State Building %26amp; I will be staying 4 nights.

I am interested in buying some new triathlon clothing. Can you let me know if there are any triathlon stores in NYC please?

I would also like to know if there are any good cycle or running stores in the area.

Hopefully I can go shopping as well as all the sightseeing.

City Sports on 5th ave b/n 35 %26amp; 36th, just above the Empire State Building.

I checked out Nike Town on 5th Ave. they had some running gear in there. I was hoping they offered a gait analysis but they dont! Only during the NY Marathon.

NY Running Co. in the Time Warner Center is pretty good- they are knowledgeable and very nice. They will order what they don%26#39;t have from their other locations within a couple days if you are looking for something specific. A number of running clubs leave from there on various evenings if you are looking for a group to run with on your trip

I would recommend SBR Multisport (on 57th or 58th off 8th avenue) or Jack Rabbit (right off union square) for anyone looking for tri gear in NYC. Paragon is good as an all around sports store, and they do have tons of running gear.

Hi, We walked miles to get to Paragon and was very disappointed. I wanted running shoes and clothes. They had a poor selection in my opinion and unfortunately it was the only store we visited where the assistant was not at all helpful. It may be better for triathlon gear?? I also thought they

were a bit on the expensive side. Sorry
