Restaurants near Lincoln Center???

I am going to a ballet at Lincoln Center on a friday evening. The show starts at 20:00, so I think a pre-theare dinner is in order. Can anyone reccoment good restaurants nearby?

Rosa Mexicano (212.977.7700) is literally across the street from Lincoln Center and is good Mexican food. Wandering a little farther up town is Cafe des Artistes at 67th St (212.877.3500) - excellent French.

Normally people will say what sort of food they want and a budget. There are a lot of restaurants in the immediate area including a few inside Lincoln Center. There%26#39;s everything from very cheap (Ollie%26#39;s Noodles) to moderate (O%26#39;Neal%26#39;s) to expensive (Picholine). Shun Lee Cafe and the pricier more formal Shun Lee West have excellent Chinese.

A short walk away there are some less expensive neighborhood restaurants that I like a lot -- Pasha (Turkish), Hunan Park (Chinese), Aegean (Greek), Penang (Malaysian), are all good choices.

Thanks for the suggestions. My family particularly likes italian food - can you N.Y. experts reccomend any of those close to Lincoln Center? Do you know Caf锟斤拷 Fiorello? I锟斤拷ve read some good reviews about the place....

Fiorello%26#39;s Cafe is good and right across the street from the New York State Theatre. Make sure you get a reservation. 212-595-5330

If you don%26#39;t want to eat too heavily before the ballet, Fiorello%26#39;s makes a great thin crust pizza. If the weather is nice, you can eat outside and watch the people go by.

Hi-I was hoping Fiorello%26#39;s was still there! The pizza is the best!. I will be traveling with my daughter to Juillard for her auditions. Can you tell me how to get to Fiorello%26#39;s from the school? I hear there is a ton of construction going on.

Julliard is on 65th between Broadway and Amsterdam; Cafe Fiorello is on Broadway at 63rd Street. From Julliard, walk down 65th to Broadway, make a right, and you%26#39;ll see Fiorello in just over a block. There is indeed a lot of construction happening there right now, so if part of 65th is blocked off, just go down to 64th and then over to Broadway.
