is there a best time to go to Chinatown?

Dont want to eat there just take my mum for a look around. I%26#39;ve been before a few years ago and loved looking at the fish shops and various other chinese stores and I just wondered if there was a better time of day or just day to go - we will be there from Friday through til Tuesday.

Late morning/midday. Saturday and Sunday will be more crowded than the weekdays.
