Hi, i%26#39;m visiting New York in Feb for the second time, and was just wondering could you guys reccommend some breakfast spots round Affinia Dumont area? (150 East 34th Street.)
Preferably some bagel places, but any suggestions would be great. Also, on one day we are planning to get a cab to Alice Tea Cup, the one on W 73rd St, i%26#39;ve read some good reveiws, would you guys reccommend?

I personally don%26#39;t think Sarabeth%26#39;s is worth a special trip. If you%26#39;re going in that neighborhood anyway (ie to Natural History Museum) fine. I would go to Balthazar (Soho) or Pastis (meatpacking district), for breakfast for the food and ambiance. Clinton st. Baking Co. is another worth the trip.

Good breakfast places near Affina Dumont
Stayed at the Affinia Dumont in early October of last year, it was our honeymoon and found the hotel to be really nice. It is situated in a really nice part of the city. It%26#39;s in a quiet residential part of the city but yet only a few minutes walk away from everything.
We were really pleased with the Murray Hill Diner which is just around the block from the hotel. it has a really good menu. Noting fancy, just good decent food.
Enjoy!! You%26#39;ll have a ball.
Penelope is sweet. Just went there for brunch last weekend.
BTW, for dinner, I strongly recommend The 2nd Avenue Deli - on E. 33rd, just of 3rd Avenue. You%26#39;re so close, it would be a shandeh to miss it.
