Chelsea Star vs Hotel Bellaclaire?

Hello,

I am a student going with my girlfriend to the city for one night next week. Since it%26#39;s only 1 night (we%26#39;re going to see a show) and we%26#39;re only 22 and not particularly picky i%26#39;m more than willing to stay in a budget hotel. The question I have is how to choose between them? I%26#39;m not worried about ';noise'; as I used to live in NYC, but does anyone have any recommendations between the chelsea star and belleclaire or any others that are under $100 a night??

Thank you in advance!

I don%26#39;t know what price you have for these 2, but I%26#39;m guessing that both will involve sharing a bathroom. If that%26#39;s the case and you%26#39;re coming to see a Broadway show, you might be able to get a private room at the Big Apple Hostel which is a better location for a night on Broadway. I also notice the very trendy new Thompson Lower EAst Side has a room for $99/night on quikbook.com for some nights. This would be private bathroom and much nicer than the other options.

Apart from those tips, look at photos of anything you%26#39;re considering on the review pages here and consider which is the better location for what you plan to do.

I stayed at the chelsea star hotel and I loved it. Especially for the price and location. I believe the decor is more for young people so it should be right up your alley. And P.S. the shared bathrooms weren%26#39;t that bad!
