I suggest you avoid Jersey Gardens. Woodbury Common is excellent, it has everything and you%26#39;ll get some real bargains this winter at Woodbury Common. Keep in mind there is also a lot of great shopping in New York City but I too love Woodbury Common.

Thanks Moreffmiles

Just wondering is there any reason you suggest avoiding jersey gardens or just that woodbury is the better of the two

My friend also wants to go visit century 21 is it worth a look??

Thanks again

I like Century 21. It is always packed but I like it.

Woodbury Common has everything.

I find Jersey Gardens rather dreary and a bit of a downer. I%26#39;ve always been disappointed and I have driven out there a few times, in part because I was going to Ikea or waiting for somebody to arrive at Newark, delayed flight.

Jersey Gardens is not really designed for shoppers from all over the world, it is designed for local people who live in the Newark and Elizabeth area, it isn%26#39;t a destination shopping place like Woodbury Common.

Thanks again for your help Moreffmiles looks like it will be a trip to woodbury common

It really depends on the Weather in my opinion. If it%26#39;s really cold or hot Jersey Gardens. If nice Woodburry is defenatly worth the time, and a verry pretty ride up espacialy on the train.

We go through the train / bus debate regularly.

The train is not the way to go to Woodbury Common because the train doesn%26#39;t leave from NY Penn, it leaves from Hoboken. You can connect from NY Penn to the train at Secaucus Junction but it is a pain.

The train doesn%26#39;t go to Woodbury Common, it stops at Harriman and you have to either find a shuttle or call a taxi, you can not walk (there aren%26#39;t any sidewalks).

The train operates on a single track and there may not be a train at the time you want to return in the afternoon because it is peak and most of the trains are heading away from the City, you%26#39;re going in the off-peak direction on a single track.

Take the bus, it takes about an hour to go up there. It may take a little longer to return in rush hour traffic going into the Lincoln Tunnel.

I admit and I do apologize becuse half the time I post these I think from my prospective and not the OP%26#39;s. From where I come from the train to the shuttle is the only way to go without driving to Woodburry. Maybe from NY it would be the bus. Again I apologize for thinking from my Prospective.

Woodbury Common, without a doubt. Great prices, beautiful area.

Hi Ais. If you have been to the Kildare Village you will get an idea of what Woodbury Common is like. The only difference is that Woodbury is about 10 times bigger! The layout is the same. If you do decide to go to Woodbury I would suggest you download a map

%26amp; pick out the stores you want to visit. Its a HUGE place and its a great help if you know where you want to go to before visiting.

PS. I really liked Century 21. Its a bit like TKMax here but plenty of bargains if you have patience. I realise you are a lot younger than I am but I still think you will like it. BTW they have a great return policy too so if you are not happy with something you can return it the next day, which I did. Also it is very accessible by subway and is right beside the World Trade Centre site.
