We(a family of 6) are driving to Florida in February from the New Rochelle,NY area. If my calculations are correct, we should be in North Carolina after 10 hours of driving. If someone can confirm this time allocation and maybe recommend a place to stay overnight. We are a family with small kids (9-13). I%26#39;m figuring this is the half way point. Thanks!!
Driving To Florida from New Rochelle area
Depending on weather and traffic conditions, 10 hours straight down I-95 should put you into Nort Carolina, and depending on where in Florida you are heading, the generally accepted half way point between New York and Florida is the Rocky Mount, N. C. vacinity. Because of that, all of the chain motels and eateries are well represented very convenient to I-95 throughout that area.
