Luggage Storage (anyone used Schwartz Travel Service)

Hi,

I am flying out of JFK on a Monday evening and will be coming into the city (via grand central) during the day. I would really like to explore some of NY before going to the airport but really dont want to have to try and wheel my suitcase around!

I came across Schwartz Travel Service near Grand Central and you can store bags there for about $10. Has anyone used this company before, or can anyone recommend any storage companies, guessing its limited due to security measures etc.

That%26#39;s the one we usually recommend. I haven%26#39;t used it myself, but I recall seeing a post from someone who did and said it was fine.

Hi,

Just to update, I used Schwartz in December and would recommend it. Really easy to use, little hard to find! Cost me $10 to storage one suitcase for about 6 hours.

I used the 46th Street location between 5th and 6th Street. At the 46th Street crossroad with 5th Ave (right by Build-a-Bear), head West towards 6th Ave (Little Brazil) and the building is on the right hand side (Number 43). The company isnt really signposted but there is a poster saying Luggage Storage and its on the 6th floor.

Would definately use again if I was in New York, really easy and meant I could enjoy my last day in New York without lugging around a heavy suitcase!
