We will be visiting New York on 26th November for 5 nights and would like a nice hotel which is centrally located. We are coming over for a christmas shopping trip - we have looked at the Confort Inn Manhattan as this is quite close to Macys - but it has mixed reviews - can anyone help or suggest another. Thanks

We stayed in the Affinia Dumont in October and we were very happy with it. The room was huge and great for chilling out after a day%26#39;s outing. Its on East 34th street, only about a 5 min walk to Macys and even less to the Empire State Building. It gets great reviews on this site.

Im booked into the Comfort inn manhattan from the 23rd Nov 09, read soom good reviews, wont be in the room long enough to care what it looks like! its right by the empire state building :-)
