Can anyone tell me what the wheather is like in nyc, I am goin in two weeks, and I want to get an idea, weather to bring things for snow, or is it just cold wheather.
NYC Wheather
I%26#39;m sure you%26#39;re very excited to be coming to New York City and we%26#39;re very pleased to learn of your interest.
Our weather is generally pretty cold in January but generally not as brutally cold as you may be expecting.
Whereas London is typically a few degree%26#39;s above freezing, we might be just a few degree%26#39;s colder however that can put us below freezing.
We do not typically get a great deal of snow. The last time we had a big snowstorm was in 2006. We did have two sleet storms in the past couple years, they weren%26#39;t much fun, they made it difficult to walk and generally uncomfortable. The storms don%26#39;t last for days though, they last for 8 - 12 hours or so.
It would be smart to bring a pair of boots in case it does snow (or sleet) and you have to navigate slushy intersections.
Otherwise, simply bring a warm coat, a scarf, gloves and you%26#39;ll be just fine. Plan to stop and enjoy some Hot Chocolate if you get cold.
Please let us know if you have any additional questions, we%26#39;re all happy to help.
NYC Wheather
Thankyou this was very helpful, I have been trying to find someone who can give me advice about my trip, I am only going to be there for 3days, we are staying in china town, and just wondered where is there places to get a bargain in nyc, and also where is good to eat.
century 21, woodbury premium outlet. Im going to NYC again end of Jan. Will definitely head to century 21.
New York has well over 5,000 restaurants and there are lots of great places all over the place.
Chinatown is a very very short walk to SoHo. Greenwich Village is also very close by.
May I kindly suggest you start by taking a look at a few websites, sort by cuisine, sort by highest rating, sort by price range, sort by neighborhood. It would be helpful if we could get a good idea of what type of food you like, what your budget is, things like that. I can recommend places where you can get great Tex-Mex cuisine for $10.00, I can also suggest places where you can easily spend hundreds of dollars per person on a dinner of a lifetime. We really need a better idea of what you%26#39;d like.
Have a look at www.menupages.com
Have a look at www.yelp.com
Try www.chowhound.com
Also look at Citysearch, just point your broswer to newyork.citysearch.com
Also have a look at www.opentable.com for availability.
Let us know what you have in mind and we%26#39;ll make some suggestions.
Macy%26#39;s, Century 21 and just about every place in town are having big sales. Happy Shopping...
I am black british, but i am not fussy when it comes to food, and if i can get buffet restuarants then, that would be great, also i will be wanting to find a beauty products store for african american hair, if you have any ideas where those are, also, is there anywhere you can get replica bags and stuff from, not everything I want to buy real, if you know what i mean.
';is there anywhere you can get replica bags and stuff from, not everything I want to buy real, if you know what i mean.';
So you want to buy some stuff that is imaginary? Or are you referring to knock-offs. Well, that can%26#39;t be insofar as they are illegal.
Is African American hair different from black british hair?
well someone told me nyc is known for alot of knock offs and its normal over here so, i assumed it was over there, and no black bristh/ is not different to african american i was just using the term.
It is illegal to buy knock offs.
Replica bags are available all over Chinatown.
Yea you said that already.
Thanks
