where would you stay?

People I know have recommended the red roof inn manhattan at $150 a night and free breakfast but on the ave hotel is the same price with no breakfast. Which is in the nicer area and which would you choose?

If you posted the locations of those hotels you would get better advice - I have no idea where either is located, and I imagine that%26#39;s the case for the majority of people reading this.

Easy. On The Ave. Much nicer and a cuter, NYC-like neighbourhood. You can pick up egg and bacon on a roll and a coffee on almost any corner for $5, so the inclusion of breakfast is not a big deal.

Yes; once you get to New York%26#39;s Penn Station, take the #1 subway line to the 79th Street stop. On the Ave is 2 blocks south of there.
