I had seen the famous ';Lunch Break'; photo (iron workers eating lunch on beam when Rockefeller building was built) many times, but I didn%26#39;t know anything about Lewis Hines until I bought a book of his photographs at the ESB.
Now I%26#39;m hooked.
Does anyone know if his works are displayed anywhere in NYC? I found the George Eastman house in Rochester, but I really wanted to see if there was anything in the city.
Thanks!
Lewis Hine's work
There are sometimes some of Hines%26#39; work on display at the Museum of the City of New York and the Int%26#39;e Center of Photography. Send them an email.

If you like Hines, you%26#39;ll probably enjoy the works of Jacob Riis, WeeGee (aka Usher Fellig), Robert Capa and Margaret Bourke-White.

Thanks for the quick response.
....And we were going to go to the Museum of the City of NY and went to the Guggenheim instead (which I totally did NOT get AT ALL-I should have waited outside, the building was way better than anything inside.)
oh well. Next time definitely!
MoMA has 15 of Hine%26#39;s photos, including the famous ';Steamfitter'; picture:
