New York Hotels with kids?

We%26#39;re combining a trip to Canada from UK with a few days en route in NYC but I%26#39;m struggling to find a hotel(reasonably priced!) that will accomodate 2 adults %26amp; 2 kids.(Aged 15 %26amp; 4)

Any ideas please..We want to be central to Times Sq etc if possible!

Thanks!

Please list your budget. There are already tons of threads on hotels. Also, when are you going to NYC?

Assuming the 2 kids each need their own bed, your best bet is a suite hotel where the 4 yr old can sleep on a sofabed. Prices fluctuate based on dates.

is a budget suite hotel near Times Square. Btw, Times Square is NOT the center of the universe for NYC. If you%26#39;re coming in warm weather, the Embassy Suites downtown is a great place with kids. It%26#39;s all 1 bedroom suites and includes a full cooked breakfast with room rates.

nycsalisbury.com

is another budget suite hotel in midtown.

are also good for families on the upper west side.

We recently stayed (NOV) at the Marriott Courtyard M idtown East. It had really big rooms with 2 queens and a sofa bed. Its in a great location with subway minutes away, it also has free internet access and tea and coffee 24/7.I have stayed in the times square area on previous visits and much preferred this location. Cheers!

Hi There!

I would definitely check out the Comfort Inn Times Square. I just saw that New York Guest has a really low price on offer for $140 per night including taxes for a 2-bedroom room and breakfast! Take a look: newyorkguest.com/-dest-NYNY-vendor-CTS___-_p鈥?/a>

The hotel is clean and comfortable and walking distance to Times Square.

Good Luck!

See what the rates are at the Parker Meridien. Pool on roof. Burger Joint. Cartoons in the elevators. Not Times Square.

In May, my DH and two boyz, 13 %26amp; 17, stayed at the Hotel Metro at 6th %26amp; 36th. We stayed in the family suite; it was perfect for us.

Two double beds in one big open room, a closed ';master bedrm'; with queen bed for me %26#39;n%26#39; himself. One bathroom, shower only, but an extra sink outside for ease of multiple teeth brushing. Two TVs, one in each room. Continental brekkie included.

We were, frankly, just delighted with it. Staff helpful, a subway at the end of the street for ease of access, lots of places to eat (of course, it%26#39;s New York!!!). Highly recommend it.

And Times Sq, while a recognizable site in most people%26#39;s eyes, is just a very noisy busy place with not much to justify it when it ain%26#39;t New Year%26#39;s Eve! Hotel Metro was about 15 minutes walk from there.
