Getting to the city from Pennsylvania?

My husband is currently outside of Harrisburg attending training for the Army. We are planning on meeting in NYC for a weekend. I%26#39;ll be flying but he will be driving in. Since parking is pricey, we thought perhaps he could bring the train in from a spot on I-78. We need something with a flexible train schedule (trains every hour or half hour) as we don%26#39;t know when he will be released from duty.

Not sure about parking, but there%26#39;s now very inexpensive and good bus service between Philadelphia and NYC via

megabus.com

boltbus.com

They may have parking info on their respective websites.
