Snow this weekend? Other ?'s

Mr Nilnod %26amp; I are thinking of running away to NYC for Saturday Night. We would leave Boston early in the morning and be in the city by noon. I have heard there may be snow but wasn%26#39;t sure what the forecast was for NYC. I don%26#39;t mind being in the city for snow, I just don%26#39;t want to drive in it Saturday AM.

Any feedback on the Affina 50 hotel? The price looks good. We also would like a recommendation of a fun laid back place to eat/drink Saturday night. Kind of an upsale Irish Pub type place. I heard the Spotted Pig was fun but is it young or tourist-y? We are neither! Thanks for your help.

Forecast is here:

But it doesn%26#39;t say how much snow accumulation is likely. I don%26#39;t think there%26#39;d be much. Given the snow/sleet forecast for Sunday, I%26#39;d be more concerned about the roads on the way back.

If you do decide to come, I recommend checking out www.priceline.com for 1 night. I%26#39;ve had friends get bargains like $90 for the Hyatt at Grand Central.

You might consider Amtrak. I-95 in snow doesn%26#39;t sound good to me.

We%26#39;re talking about the possibility of three to six inches of snow starting late Saturday morning. That was according to Accu Weather. The National Weather Service just says that there is a 70% chance of snow but they don%26#39;t say how much.

Consider Amtrak. The City is magical in the snow however I-95 is anything but magical (unless you consider jacknifed tractor trailers magic)
